The treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissues and the joints … by manipulation …. to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function, or pain relief."

Registered massage therapists (RMTs) are required to complete a 2200 hours degree and board exam before becoming a licensed health practitioner in Ontario.
